AI has changed the game. It produces instantaneous content on demand but it's already coming with a lot of controversy because it's a regurgitation of other people's hard earned work and research. It's simply not original.
Teachers and professionals have spent years encouraging students to think creatively and to access the intellect that is a part of their own free thinking.
While everyone is a student who learns from a teacher AI is capable of learning from billions of teachers and giving you back that information to allow you to alter it. It is exactly like stealing. So why do people still like it? It's easy. The easy part is giving it a request and simply getting that request using the entire accessible internet as it's base to give you a wealth of information that's would otherwise take time to access. You are really no different than the people of old consulting the shrunken head. We are willfully summoning the demon.
It is said that there is nothing new under the sun. And this true. Old drawings and carvings of technology show that the world has known and possessed very advanced technologies at various points in time, and that it seems to lose and regain these advancements in patterns and cycles. During the obtainment of these technologies, it is indeed capable of nearly impossible feats as far as the general public understands things. But advancements in government technologies are always ahead of that allowed in the civilian sector.
After the government has maxed out a technology, it is then given to institutions through colleges and universities where it is further refined and perfected, then passed on to the best of industry where it is utilized to maximize profits and speedhead innovation that the public may then begin to get the first taste and then it's passed down to individual professionals. The public are the last to receive the technology.
But creativity does not rely on technology. From the primitive nature of a cave painting to the complexity of a symphony orchestra performance or the design of a complex machinery to simply a job that simplifies life. Mankind continues to have a creative nature outside of technology. But technologies simply the process.
The future of unique and special could contain adding work that was not inspired by or touched upon by an AI presence, one spurred solely by human thoughts, emotions, and ideas from a solely human experience. As the AI is used by more and more people it becomes better at mimicking people, better at creating what it learns people are requesting from it, posting. It perfects it's learning curve on a continual basis to mimick you, relate to you and match the human experience. It works to synthesize human life, mimicking it exactly.
My goal would be to keep my content unregurgitated and unique. No other writers should be able to see hints of their work in mines because mines came only from me. To remain uniquely human will have consequences. I don't write as fast but I still write and my content will pass an AI detector designed to detect regurgitation of copied content. There is also a certain satisfaction in expression. Express you as you. No imitating, no stealing, a clear conscience, and a uniqueness in production of your own unique content.
